I have come to many realizations this year. Many if not all of them translate to what I do as a photographer. I always look for connection and authenticity in other people and when I find it I get inspired. I find a lot of joy in documenting something that is real. That is really all I need in order to create the image that is honest.
The two days celebration of Poorvi and Robert was a simple act of LOVE and unity of two beautiful families. The idea was to enjoy and celebrate free from all the stress related to extensive planning.Instead their focused on their happiness and sharing it with their family and friends.
I witnessed many genuinely beautiful moments in those two days. Bonding of two families that came from different cultural backgrounds, heartwarming poems read during ceremony and one of my favorite: Poorvi and Robert whistling to each other a melody from Edit Piaf song La Vie En Rose. Truly Magical!
